Reviews about Domino's Pizza Glenorchy
- 1 / 5By Brandon McGillverytonight I placed an order from the Dominos branch in my local area of Glenorchy. I took my time in choosing what I wanted by browsing their many different and delicious pizza options. I ended up coming to the satisfying decision of a chicken and camembert pizza and accompanied it with a box of chicken kickers and a cheesey garlic bread. I placed the order via their website and was initially told there'd be a 40 minute wait on my order. I thought to myself while it is a little longer than my average delivery time it's reasonable being a weekend. However my 40 minute wait ended up turning into 1 hour and 45 minutes of almost unbearable stomach pains from the extreme hunger I was facing. I was almost ready to begin cooking my own dinner when a knock on the door made my eyes light up with extreme delight. I whisped my cash off the coffee table and sprinted to the front door. I happily greeted the delivery driver and ignored the fact I had to wait so long because I really just wanted to eat some food at this point. I sat down in my lounge room and laid out my display of tastey treats. Unfortunately when I bit into my garlic bread I soon discovered it was cold. This made me think, so I opened my box of chicken to test its temperature and low and behold it was also stone cold. This made me quite upset as I knew I would have to put this food in the oven therefore making me wait further to satisfy my hunger and creating mess in the kitchen which is meant to be one of the conveniences of eating take away. I was at least at peace with the fact that if my pizza was cold I would still happily eat it as I personally think pizza isn't too bad when it's on the colder side. Now, before I continue I must let the readers know that I HATE tomato sauce, topping, dip, paste or any variety of the sort. So obviously I opted for a different base for my chicken and camembert pizza. Now I opened my pizza box and got myself pumped to chow down after a near two hour wait. My chicken and garlic bread were in the oven and I knew they'd be ready by the time I had downed my delicious pizza. I picked out the best looking slice and raised it to my mouth, I was salivating profusely and had a feeling of gratitude to dominos for creating such a delicious pie. I however took my first bite and was left in pure disgust as I was soon made aware that my pizza had a tomato base. I cursed dominos for deceiving me in such a horrible way. I called and they tried to resolve the issue by offering me a free pizza on another night, this was not accepted in my current state of rage I demanded they resolve the issue at once! They promised me a replacement chicken and camembert pizza would be delivered as soon as possible to resolve my current issue, to which I was accepting and thanked the well spoken lady on the phone at the branch. Once again there is a however. This call was made now 1 hour ago. I've eaten other food in the meantime, have watched half a tv series while waiting in some sort of forced pizza limbo, have had the time to write this review, and am beginning to think I have been forgotten about by the pizza conglomerate. Not happy dominos Glenorchy. Not happy.February 01, 2017
